![]() ![]() ![]() But because this is the BDB we know it’s not exactly going to go that way. ![]() Although Phury has never been with a woman he volunteered to go and mate with some 40-odd of them so that V could find happiness. He’s been celibate for hundreds of years and is a virgin…and in the previous novel, Lover Unbound when Vishous realised he couldn’t go and be the Primale because he loved Doc Jane so much, Phury offered to go in his place. He’s been in love with Bella, Zsadist’s shellan since about the second book. He lights up an awful lot of red smoke, some sort of weed/drug that I’m not entirely sure about except I think it’s supposed to be like pot but…more. ![]() He has long, very beautiful coloured hair. He shot his own leg off and now wears a prosthesis. Zsadist’s twin and tortured over the fact that it was Z who was kidnapped as a baby and not him, Phury spent an age tracking down his brother and helping to free him from the Mistress who made him a bloodslave. In Lover Enshrined we’re with Phury who has always seemed a bit like the sweet awkward younger brother of the BDB. I certainly hope they’re both better than this one, which has to be the worst novel so far. It’s more Black Dagger Brotherhood! I really did overdose on these – and I have two more waiting for me at the library at the moment as well. ![]()

He was actually terminated as an informant because he failed a polygraph. The details of the articles and story are about how he's a con man among other things. They are abstract and surreal, but strike a nice balance between being readable and thought provoking. These are not conventionally rendered stories, but a sort of written performance art. He was an informant because of affiliations with MOA and QOU (North American terrorist organisations).
